About Home
Brainerd Learning Center is an alternative learning opportunity for students. We have 3 different programs. Middle Level Alternative Program(MLAP) grades 7-8, Brainerd Learning Center Academy(BLCA) grades 9-10, and Area Education Center(AEC) grades 11-12+.
Alternative education refers to educational approaches that differ from traditional schooling methods. This can include various models and philosophies designed to meet the diverse needs of students. Alternative education aims to create a more engaging and supportive learning environment for students who may not thrive in traditional educational settings.

MLAP(Middle Level Alternative Program) Grades 7 - 8 for students who meet criteria for alternative programming and are willing to take an active role on their path to finding educational success.
